Suspected thief terrorizing tricycle operators in Jos nabbed by community youths

Residents of Furaka community in Jos apprehend a suspected thief in the early hours of today. One of the residents of the community who does not want his name to be mentioned, explained that the┬ásuspected thief “was running without shoes on, and with a dagger knife,” so he raised alarm and called on some youths in the community to pursue and apprehend him

When asked where he was running to and from, why he was running, and the dagger-knife is doing in his possession, he claimed that he was coming from Lamingo dam area and that the dagger knife belongs to his friend who took a different direction.

Not satisfied with the boy’s explanation, the residents of the area took him to the Police for proper investigation to be carried out.

One of the youths who took the boy to security men narrated, “the two boys were being pursued by police men at Lamingo area and the police men have already arrested two out of the four boys and that the boys have been terrorizing tricycle operators in the area, that the Police were very happy for them bringing the boy to them and thanked them.”
